All schools in New Zealand placing international students have to agree to observe and be bound by the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students published by the Minister of Education. Copies of the Code and on line information are available on request from the New Zealand

It is compulsory for all international students coming to study in New Zealand to be covered by health insurance.
