Northland tour

Dates:

• 18th April - 24th April (students from all cities)

STB Pacific in partnership with NZIST (New Zealand International Student Tours) promotes a seven-day super adventure for you to experience a region of New Zealand other than the place of your exchange programme. There will be a trip in April during your school holidays and another in November, at the end of the school year.

Day 1 – Auckland/Warkworth – Arrival at Auckland Airport – City Tour through Devonport/ North Shore City. You will go in a private bus to Warkworth, a typical New Zealand small town in the Northland's endless summer where we’ll stay for the night.

Day 2 – Warkworth/Whangarei – Goat Island/Leigh Marine Reserve. This is a day for snorkelling and enjoying the Pacific Ocean underwater world! Do a selection of water-based adventure activities before heading to Whangarei.

Day 3 – Whangarei/Tutukaka Coast/Whangarei – You will be able to enjoy diving and/or snorkelling in one of the “ten most beautiful places to dive in the world”: Poor Knights Islands. Those who would prefer to stay ashore can walk along the coast and enjoy some of the great beaches in the area.

Day 4 – Whangarei/Bay of Islands – Roll yourself out of bed and be prepared for an action packed day heading up to one of the most visited regions in the North Island. This is an awesome place for swimming with dolphins, parachuting and enjoying the 144 island scenery of translucent waters.

Day 5 – Bay of Islands/Cape Reinga – You will have the option between visiting the northern tip of the North Island where the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman Sea meet, a sacred area to the Maori people, or relaxing and enjoying plenty of leisure activities in Paihia, including the historical location of Waitangi, the place where the Treaty between Maori and the British was signed,or surfing and lessons at a nearby surfbeach.
 
Day 6 – Bay of Islands/Waipoua Forest/Matakohe/Auckland – We’ll take the route of the huge Kauri tree forest to see one of the biggest Kauri trees in New Zealand, Tane Mahuta, and visit the Kauri Museum. Then we’ll head towards Auckland for a farewell dinner!

Day 7 – Auckland – It’s time to say goodbye, take the shuttle to the airport and return to your city.

A STB Pacific em parceria com a operadora NZIST (New Zealand International Student Tours) promove uma super aventura de sete dias para você conhecer melhor outras partes da Nova Zelândia, além da cidade do seu intercâmbio. A primeira viagem será durante as férias escolares de Abril e a segunda em Novembro, ao final do programa.

Itinerário:

1º dia – Auckland/Warworth – Chegada no aeroporto de Auckland – City tour por Devonport/North Shore City. Partida em ônibus privativo com destino ao norte – Warworth. Pernoite numa típica cidade pequena da Nova Zelândia.

2º dia – Warworth/Whangarei – Visita a Goat Island/Leigh Marine Reserve. Dia de “snorkelling” e de ver o mundo subaquático do Oceano Pacífico!!!! Continuação da viagem rumo à cidade de Whangarei.

3º dia – Whangarei/Tutukaka Coast/Whangarei – Mergulho e/ou “snorkelling” em um dos 10 lugares mais lindos do mundo – Poor Knights Islands. Para os que preferirem ficar em terra, caminhadas pela costa com paradas em praias paradisíacas!!!!

4º dia – Whangarei/Bay of Islands – Saída para uma das regiões mais visitadas por turistas na Ilha Norte. Dia de nadar com golfinhos ou saltar de pára-quedas e curtir o visual de 140 ilhas em águas transparentes.

5º dia – Bay of Islands/Cape Reinga – Passeio opcional para quem quiser conhecer o ponto extremo da Ilha Norte, onde o Oceano Pacífico se encontra com o Mar da Tasmânia!!! Para os que preferirem relaxar em Paihia, opções de lazer é o que não falta!

6º dia – Bay of Islands/Auckland – Retorno a Auckland. Jantar de encerramento na “Cidade das Velas” (City of Sails) onde passaremos a última noite.

7º dia – Auckland – Hora da despedida, transfer para o aeroporto e volta para a sua cidade.
